Hungarian national team water polo player.
He started water polo in KSI in 1994. In 2002, he was member of the junior national team that won the silver medal at the European Championship held in Bari and also the youth national team taking the silver medal at the World Championship in Istanbul in 2003. In 2004, he signed with the Euro League winner Domino-BHSE. In 2005, he became Junior Player of the Year as Hungarian championship, followed by another championship title in 2006.
He signed with TEVA-VasasPlaket in the summer of 2006. The team won the Hungarian Cup in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Ferencváros signed him in the 2009-2010 season. In 2010, he joined the Hungarian national team led by Dénes Kemény, then returned to Honvéd, his previous club a season later. He won his first Hungarian Cup trophy with the red-white team, but missed the podium in the championship.
In May 2012, he left Honvéd that was facing financial difficulties, and returned to Vasas after three seasons. Since the Angyalföld team unexpectedly lost one of its key sponsors, Tóth signed with Posillipo in Naples, which he left in 2013. He played for Szeged during the 2013-14 season. He played for Dózsa KÖZGÉP between 2014 and 2015 then signed for Ferencváros at the summer of 2015.
